Yes. Tracking down unusual specs is a core part of what we do. Stock lists only show what a dealer has on the floor, and plant buyers often need something outside the standard options: an extended bed for a longer machine, a heavy-duty winch rated above the stock fitment, higher lashing point ratings for the insurance, a specific ramp configuration for tracked plant, or a combination of features that no one holds in stock. We work through a wider dealer network and auction channels across the UK to find the exact vehicle, and we arrange inspection, paperwork, finance and delivery as one package. Lead times vary with the spec.

Yes. Plant vehicles and the plant itself are both financeable, and we arrange the funding as an FCA-authorised broker across a panel of lenders. Hire purchase is the common route on plant because the buyer usually wants ownership at the end, the full VAT is reclaimable by VAT-registered businesses on delivery, and the vehicle and machine sit on the balance sheet for capital allowances. Contract hire works where the spec is standard enough to set a residual value. Finance lease is an option for buyers who want the tax treatment of a lease with more flexibility at the end. Package deals combining the carrier and the machine are funded on a single agreement.

Beavertails run from 3.5 tonne gross vehicle weight up to 18 tonne. A 3.5 tonne beavertail can be driven on a standard car licence and suits a 1 to 1.5 tonne mini digger with ramps stowed. A 7.5 tonne beavertail under a C1 licence carries a 3 tonne digger plus attachments and tools with payload to spare. 12 tonne and 18 tonne chassis under a Category C licence handle larger excavators, twin-drum rollers and heavier dumpers. Bed length, sloping angle, winch rating and lashing point count all scale with the tonnage, so we spec the vehicle around the heaviest machine you plan to carry rather than the lightest.

Yes. Free UK-wide delivery is included on every plant sale and vehicle. The finished vehicle leaves our Porthcawl base driven or transported directly to your yard or site, with paperwork, plated weight certificates, handover notes and any warranty documents travelling with it. Delivery of the plant itself (mini digger, dumper, roller) is handled alongside the carrier on package deals, so one delivery drop covers both. If you need the plant delivered on the vehicle pre-loaded and secured, we can arrange that too. Mainland UK is standard. Highlands, islands and Northern Ireland are confirmed on a quote-by-quote basis.

Yes. Used plant and used plant-carrying vehicles sit alongside the new stock. Used gives the buyer a lower capital cost and faster availability, which matters when a contract start date has already been set. Every used vehicle and machine is inspected and documented before it leaves us, with service history, MOT status, hours on the clock for plant machines, and any known issues disclosed up front. Used plant is often the right answer for a second or third vehicle on the fleet, where new makes sense for the flagship. We also take part-exchange against an older beavertail, digger or dumper if you are replacing rather than adding.
